Determining the Optimum Service Area and Station Location for Personal Mobility Sharing Services

This study focused on station and dockless systems related to personal mobility sharing services in the midst of which is currently increasing. Based relevant literatures that operating these two tandem was more efficient for urban management, a methodological framework proposed with combination determining service areas based user preference locations potential demand. applied Geumjeong-gu, Busan, Korea. The results showed approximately 33% case need be designated as survey data. required minimum number stations calculated by considering travel distance between users facilities, location (according random stations) were determined condition minimize sum distances. possible suggest useful policies attracting is, planning facilities according inputs from local governments capacity demand allocated them.
